Ahi Ajayan

Ahi Ajayan is a rising star in the world of Indian classical and playback singing. Born and raised in the United States, Ahi began her musical journey at the tender age of three, focusing on Carnatic music. She's the daughter of Pulickel Ajay and Poornima Ajayan, who work at Rice University. Despite her young age, Ahi has already made waves in the music industry, performing in over 50 concerts and lending her voice to film soundtracks.

In 2022, Ahi gained significant attention for her performance of "Kannilu Kannilu" in the Indian comedy film "Ayisha." The song's music video garnered millions of views on YouTube, showcasing Ahi's talent to a wider audience. Currently a student at Rice University's Wiess School of Natural Sciences, Ahi is exploring the intersection of music and neuroscience, aiming to bridge her passion for singing with her academic pursuits.
