He found refuge in the UK, where he discovered his passion for soul music. Bimeni's powerful voice has drawn comparisons to Otis Redding, earning him the nickname "the Burundian Otis Redding".
Bimeni's debut album "Free Me" was released in 2018 to critical acclaim, followed by "Give Me Hope" in 2022.
