Lena&Linus

Lena & Linus is a German indie-pop duo from Würzburg, consisting of Lena Bäcker and Linus Knobling. The two musicians met via social media in late 2020 and began writing songs together in 2021. They signed with Four Music and released their first singles, "Emilie" and "Grüne Nikes," in 2022, produced by Tim Tautorat. Their debut EP, "Fühlst du dich allein?" was recorded at the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin. The duo's music often explores themes of melancholy and longing, with a style that blends acoustic simplicity with catchy melodies. Their second EP, "Sekundenschlaf," was released in September 2023, marking a shift towards more optimistic lyrics while maintaining their distinctive emotional depth.

In recent years, Lena & Linus have released a string of singles, including "Rosarot," "Bleiben können," "Liebe teilen," "Universum groß," "Es regnet Sterne," "Fenster zum Hof," and "Für immer." Their music is characterized by its emotional German lyrics and a sound that draws inspiration from American indie-pop, often compared to artists like Angus & Julia Stone and Clairo. The duo has been recognized with the Bayerischen Kunstförderpreis in 2023 and has embarked on several tours across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
