Notti Osama

Notti Osama, born Ethan Reyes, was a promising young American rapper and songwriter from Harlem, New York. Born on January 17, 2008, he gained recognition in the hip-hop scene, particularly after appearing on Sugarhill Ddot's single "Too Tact" in 2022. His music often reflected the harsh realities of growing up in Harlem, focusing on themes of street life and violence. Notti Osama's career was marked by his aggressive drill rap style, which resonated with many young fans. Tragically, his life was cut short when he was fatally stabbed during an altercation at a subway station on July 9, 2022. Despite his short career, Notti Osama left a lasting impact on the hip-hop community, with several posthumous releases, including "Dead Opps," "Victory," and "Killshot" .

After his death, Notti Osama's brother, DD Osama, paid tribute to him, and his music continued to gain popularity. His legacy includes being part of a new wave of young NYC drill rappers, influenced by artists like A$AP Rocky and Pop Smoke. Notti Osama's story serves as a poignant reminder of the challenges faced by young artists in the hip-hop world .
