ASURA

Asura is the name of a French ambient music and trance project created by Charles Farewell. Originally formed in 1996 as a group with Vincent Villuis and Christopher Maze, Asura became Farewell's solo project in 2005. The music blends elements of psychedelic trance, ambient, and world music. Asura has released several albums on Ultimae Records, including "Code Eternity" (2000), "Lost Eden" (2003), "Life²" (2007), and "360" (2010). Farewell's compositions often feature melodic electronic soundscapes with influences from various global music traditions.
