Number One Babe Team

Number One Babe Team is a four-piece indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2018, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Emily Kempf, guitarist and vocalist Sam Wisternoff, bassist and vocalist Alex Estrada, and drummer and vocalist Jake Rabinbach. Their music is characterized by its catchy melodies, jangly guitars, and introspective lyrics. Number One Babe Team has released two EPs, "See You Later" and "Fever American Dream," and is currently working on their debut album.

The band's name is a reference to the 1992 film "Singles," in which the character Cliff Poncier (played by Matt Dillon) forms a band called Number One Babe Team. Kempf has said that she chose the name because it "sounded like a band that would play at a house party." Number One Babe Team has been praised for their energetic live shows and their ability to connect with their audience. They have toured extensively throughout the United States and have shared the stage with bands such as The Strokes, The Breeders, and The Lemonheads.
