Lester Doyle

Lester Doyle, born and raised in France, is a versatile composer and sound designer known for his immersive, cinematic music that blends industrial, epic, and modern classical styles. Starting his musical journey with piano and guitar in his youth, he formed the band The Mis(s)takers in 2002, gaining recognition with their Californian pop-punk sound before moving into more expansive, narrative-driven compositions inspired by science fiction and fantasy worlds such as Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series and the Warhammer 40K universe. He has released several ambitious projects like the "Shape Shifter" EP and the Warhammer 40K-themed "FUGRIM" album, showcasing his skill in fusing orchestral and electronic elements, and collaborating with video game studios and filmmakers to bring richly emotional soundscapes to their work.

Lester Doyle & His Shifty Twins have continued to evolve with recent releases including "Inner Voices," "Ocean Ways (instrumental)," and "Maraviglia, Pt. 1 (Gramophone Edition)," characterized by intricate arrangements reminiscent of composers like Zimmer and Silvestri but rooted firmly in modern piano. His work is praised for its cinematic depth and storytelling power, making him a distinct voice in contemporary composition and sound design.
