Beseech

Beseech is a Swedish gothic metal band that originally formed in 1992. Pioneers in the gothic metal scene, they started their journey in Borås, a city known for its rich history in textile industry, yet they managed to weave a completely different fabric—a dark and melodious soundscape that resonates with emotion and atmosphere. Beseech's music is characterized by a blend of heavy guitar riffs, atmospheric synthesizers, and a combination of clean singing and deep, melancholic vocals that interweave to tell tales of inner darkness and profound feelings.

The band has gone through several lineup changes and hiatuses over the years, but regardless of these shifts, they have maintained a consistent presence in their genre. Beginning with their debut album "...From a Bleeding Heart" in 1998, they have released a series of notable records that exhibit their musical evolution. Their latest release, "My Darkness, Darkness" in 2016, marked a return after a decade-long pause, embracing their gothic roots while exploring new sonic territories. Other prominent albums in their discography include "Black Emotions" (2000), known for its haunting atmosphere, and "Soul Highway" (2002), which displays a more melodious and accessible side of the band. Across albums such as "Drama" (2004) and the succeeding releases, Beseech has cemented their standing in the gothic metal community, earning a loyal following and critical acclaim for their artistic expressions of the human condition's darker aspects.
