**mmph** is a music artist known for his emotive and introspective soundscapes. Born Sae Heum Han in Korea, mmph moved to Canada with his family at the age of nine and has since been on the move, which has deeply influenced his music. He studied classical cello performance for over a decade before transitioning into electronic music. His work is heavily influenced by personal experiences, including his mother's health struggles, which inspired his EP *Dear God*. This EP, released on Tri-Angle Records, reflects his journey through difficult times and serves as a form of personal healing. mmph is now based in Boston, where he continues to create music full-time after studying at the Berklee College of Music.
