Hearts Apart is an Italian punk rock band formed in the summer of 2018, during the Lollollo Fest on the shores of Lake Garda. The band channels existential unease and dread into their music, blending punk rock and rock'n'roll with emotive intensity and self-irony. Their raw energy is reminiscent of bands like The Marked Men, and they draw inspiration from their own approaching forties, reflecting on themes of teenage distress through adult eyes. Hearts Apart's debut live performance was held in a unique setting—a beat-up pickup truck at a mountain refuge—and since then, they have released several EPs, including "Summer Bummer," "Number One to No One," and "Bang Wrong Again." These records showcase their ability to merge catchy hooks with emotional depth, capturing the contradictions of human connection and life's absurdities.
Their music is characterized by its unfiltered emotion and anthemic urgency, often embracing desperation, defiance, and moments of reckless abandon alongside introspection. Hearts Apart's approach is direct, emotional, and visceral, making it possible for listeners to both cry and dance to their songs. The band is comprised of members Checco, Giò, Punch, and Silva, who continue to bring their passion for punk rock and rock’n’roll to the stage with a lively and energetic performance style.
