Thomas Zehetmair is a German violinist and conductor known for his passionate and intense performances. Born in Salzburg, Austria, in 1961, he began playing the violin at the age of five and quickly established himself as a child prodigy. Zehetmair has collaborated with renowned orchestras worldwide, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. He is also a dedicated chamber musician and has formed several ensembles, including the Zehetmair Quartet. Zehetmair's repertoire spans from Baroque to contemporary music, and he is particularly known for his interpretations of Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert.
