Zach Hill

Zach Hill is an American drummer and experimental musician known for his hyperkinetic, polyrhythmic drumming style and boundary-pushing approach to percussion. Originally gaining attention as one half of the noise rock duo Hella, Hill has become a prolific figure in the avant-garde and experimental music scenes. He's worked on solo projects like Astrological Straits and FACE TAT, which showcase his signature chaotic energy and unconventional song structures.

In addition to his solo work, Zach Hill is widely recognized as a founding member and drummer of the experimental hip-hop group Death Grips, where he blends aggressive, complex rhythms with industrial and electronic textures. Beyond Hella and Death Grips, Hill has collaborated with a wide range of artists across genres, including Marnie Stern, Omar Rodríguez-López, and Chino Moreno of Deftones. His work continues to influence drummers and experimental musicians alike.
