Colette Alliot-Lugaz

Colette Alliot-Lugaz is a French soprano born on July 20, 1947, in Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe. She is particularly known for her association with Mozart's operas, often performing roles such as Susanna and Zerlina. Her repertoire also includes works by Monteverdi, Rameau, Charpentier, and Haydn. Alliot-Lugaz began her musical studies in Bonneville and Geneva before completing her training at the Paris Opéra-Studio. She made her stage debut as Pamina in *The Magic Flute* in 1976. Her career highlights include performances at the Opéra National de Lyon, the Paris Opéra, La Monnaie in Brussels, and the Aix-en-Provence Festival.

Colette Alliot-Lugaz has also been involved in creating new roles, such as the Page in Philippe Boesmans's *La Passion de Gilles* in 1983.
