Beyond Creation

Beyond Creation is a progressive technical death metal band that has been forging their own path in the extreme music scene with virtuosic prowess and complex songwriting since their inception in 2005. Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the band was founded by guitarist and vocalist Simon Girard and bassist Dominic "Forest" Lapointe, with the lineup later solidifying with the addition of guitarist Kevin Chartré and drummer Philippe Boucher. Known for integrating elements of jazz, atmospheric passages, and intricate melodies into their ferocious brand of death metal, they have quickly risen to prominence within the metal community.

Their debut album "The Aura," released in 2011, immediately set them apart due to their technical skills and innovative song structures. This was followed by the critically acclaimed "Earthborn Evolution" in 2014, which further established the band's unique blend of complexity and fluidity. Beyond Creation reached new heights with their third full-length album "Algorythm" in 2018, earning them a Juno Award nomination for Heavy Metal Album of the Year in Canada. The album’s title track along with songs like "Entre Suffrage Et Mirage" and "The Inversion" showcased their ability to balance intensity with musical precision. Throughout their career, Beyond Creation has captivated listeners worldwide with their meticulous craftsmanship and have continued to challenge the boundaries of technical death metal while delivering electrifying performances on global stages.
