Serpent Of Gnosis

Serpent of Gnosis is a supergroup formed in 2018, bringing together members from well-known metal bands. The lineup includes Jonny Davy (vocals) from Job for a Cowboy, Alan Glassman and Tony Sannicandro (guitars) also from Job for a Cowboy, Max Lavelle (bass) from The Black Dahlia Murder, and Darren Cesca (drums) from Deeds of Flesh.

The band released their debut album "As I Drink from the Infinite Well of Inebriation" on June 14, 2019. Their music is described as a blend of progressive death metal with hardcore elements, focusing on themes of addiction and its effects on the human body and mind. The album was recorded with each member tracking their parts separately from home, and was mixed by drummer Darren Cesca in his House of Grind studio.
