He is known for his work in electronic music, often blending elements of house and techno to create captivating club tracks. Berg's live performances are highly interactive, featuring a mix of digital and analogue equipment that he uses to craft evolving sets filled with affecting melodies and pulsating basslines. His influences include Detroit techno legends like Jeff Mills and Carl Craig, as well as the experimental sounds of early Warp Records.

Beyond his solo work, Hans Berg collaborates with artist Nathalie Djurberg, creating atmospheric soundscapes for her animations and installations. Their interdisciplinary projects often explore themes of human and animalistic desires, blending music with visual art to create immersive experiences.
