Darko Rundek

Darko Rundek is a Croatian singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his unique blend of rock, folk, and world music. Born in 1956 in Zagreb, Rundek began his musical career in the late 1970s as a member of the influential Yugoslav punk band Haustor. After Haustor disbanded in 1981, Rundek embarked on a solo career, releasing a string of critically acclaimed albums that have established him as one of the most respected musicians in the former Yugoslavia and beyond. His music is characterized by its introspective lyrics, haunting melodies, and eclectic instrumentation, which often incorporates elements of traditional Croatian folk music.
