Alexis Venegas is a Chilean musician, composer, and singer known for his work in genres such as Trova, Balada, and Latin American fusion. Born in Arica, Chile, on August 2, 1972, Venegas has shared stages with notable artists like Víctor Heredia, Ismael Serrano, and Inti Illimani. He gained significant recognition by winning the XLV Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar in 2004 with his song "Tus ojos." His discography includes albums like "Deja el miedo y ven a volar" (1999), "Cierto día… cierta noche" (2003), and "Invicto" (2017). Venegas studied Pedagogy in Music at the Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencias de la Educación, where he met other prominent trovadores.
