Terveet Kädet

Terveet Kädet are pioneers of Finnish hardcore punk and widely regarded as one of the earliest and most influential bands in the genre. Formed in Tornio, Finland in 1980, their raw, aggressive sound and fast, minimalist songs helped shape the direction of global hardcore punk throughout the 1980s. With politically charged lyrics and relentless energy, they earned a strong underground following both in Finland and abroad, especially among fans of early hardcore and D-beat punk.

Over the decades, Terveet Kädet have remained a cult favorite, releasing a long list of EPs, albums, and compilations, including key records like "Lapin Helvetti" and "Musta Jumala." Their short, explosive tracks and uncompromising attitude left a lasting mark on punk scenes around the world, influencing countless hardcore bands who followed in their footsteps. The band officially disbanded in 2016, but their legacy continues to be celebrated by punk fans globally.
