Lamera

Lamera is a metal band from Mannheim, Germany, that formed in 2004. Initially founded by Thomas Franklin (guitar), Silvio Stolzenthaler (drums), and Maximilian Gratzl (guitar), the band experimented with their sound during their first year. Over time, the lineup evolved with additions like bassist Matej Satovic and guitarist/vocalist Christopher Hummels. Lamera started performing live in 2007 and quickly made a name for themselves, playing over 50 shows in Germany and Austria and winning newcomer band contests at several festivals such as Rock Area, Raise the Roof, and Phönix Festival. They signed their first record deal with Traunshumanz Records in 2012.

Their music blends modern death metal, groove metal, and metalcore, while also incorporating some softer elements for contrast. Some of their notable releases include the 2008 album *Destruction Manual*, the 2009 EP *Apex*, and the 2012 album *Mechanically Separated*. Their energetic and heavy sound has earned them a dedicated following within the metal community in Germany and beyond.
