Mad Clip

Mad Clip, born Panagiotis Peter Anastasopoulos, was an American-born Greek rapper and songwriter. He was born on May 25, 1987, in New York City to Greek parents. Mad Clip gained popularity in the Greek music scene with hits like "Dealer," "Kotera," and "Sinthikes," which have garnered millions of views on YouTube. He released four albums during his lifetime: *Super Trapper*, *O Amerikanos LP*, *Super Trapper 2*, and *Still Active*. A fifth album, *Money And Drugs Can’t Live In Poverty*, was released posthumously. Mad Clip was known for his contributions to the rise of trap music in Greece. He passed away on September 2, 2021, in a car accident in Vouliagmeni, Greece.

Mad Clip's music career began with his involvement in the group Outkast Excellence O.E. in 2004. He initially performed in English but later transitioned to writing songs in Greek, which significantly boosted his popularity in Greece. Despite his ambition to succeed internationally, he found success in Greece, where he became one of the most popular rappers of his time. His music often reflected his love for luxury and speed, themes that were tragically echoed in his untimely death.
