Ayumi Hamasaki

Ayumi Hamasaki is a Japanese singer, songwriter, and record producer. She is one of the best-selling music artists in Japan, with over 80 million records sold worldwide. Hamasaki has released 18 studio albums, 10 compilation albums, and 55 singles. She has won numerous awards, including the Japan Record Award for Best Album and the MTV Video Music Award for Best Female Video.

Hamasaki was born in Fukuoka, Japan, on October 2, 1978. She began her career as a model and actress, but she soon transitioned to music. Her debut single, "Poker Face," was released in 1998 and was a commercial success. Hamasaki's subsequent singles and albums were also successful, and she quickly became one of the most popular singers in Japan.
