Unén

Unén is a modern melodic metal band from Helsinki, Finland, known for blending elements of progressive and pop into their powerful yet emotionally rich sound. Founded in late 2021, the band’s name is derived from the Finnish word meaning "to dream" or "falling asleep." After refining their style through self-produced tracks, Unén redefined their lineup in 2023 by bringing on lead singer Stina Girs, who gained recognition from the Finnish TV show *Idols* and her solo career. Inspired by bands like Evanescence, Unén focuses on original compositions that showcase a collaborative spirit, with each member contributing equally to their music.

The current lineup features Stina Girs on vocals, Kimmo Pitkänen and Harri Moilanen on guitars, Petteri Sinervä on keyboards, Tomi Kallava on bass, and Timo Larjo on drums. They signed with Frontiers Music in early 2024, which supports their continued rise in the melodic metal scene. Their 2025 album *Forever Winter* includes standout tracks such as "Black Heart," "Sky," and "In My Bones," reflecting the band’s evolving sound and heartfelt themes.
