Tablo is a multifaceted South Korean artist, best known as the leader and producer of the critically acclaimed hip-hop group Epik High. Born Lee Sun-woong on July 22, 1980, in Seoul, South Korea, Tablo is not only a rapper but also a lyricist, composer, and author. He moved to Canada at a young age, where he encountered different musical influences that would later shape his unique style. Tablo attended Stanford University, an experience that solidified his command of English and allowed him to bridge Korean and Western musical traditions.

Tablo's artistry is characterized by his deep and introspective lyrics, which often tackle themes of struggle, introspection, and the human condition. His personal struggles, including a high-profile academic controversy in South Korea, have often been channeled into his music, making his work resonate with authenticity and raw emotion. His solo albums, “Fever's End (열꽃) Pt. 1” and “Fever's End (열꽃) Pt. 2,” released in 2011, are testament to his ability to convey profound personal narratives, earning critical acclaim both domestically and internationally.
