Eminata

Eminata is a soul-pop artist from Zushi, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, known for her unique blend of Japanese, English, and French in her music. She debuted in 2021 with the EP *ame* after joining Slugger Production. Her sound is a seamless mix of grooves and melodies that combine the new and old, defying easy genre classification. In 2023, she performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’s "ROOKIE A GO-GO" stage, and in 2024 she released her first full album, *Red*, which was followed by a sold-out solo live show in Tokyo. Eminata is also deeply involved in her artistry beyond singing, contributing to her artwork and expanding her roles as a producer and director to share her musical vision.

Her music often weaves emotional colors in a way inspired by Joni Mitchell’s idea that "music is colours that pick the current state of your emotionality," creating a sound that’s both refined and heartfelt. Eminata’s work explores multiple languages and soundscapes, offering listeners a fresh and intimate experience through soul, pop, and hints of R&B.
