Edward Picton-Turbervill

Edward Picton-Turbervill is a **prize-winning pianist and composer** from Britain who's been making waves in the contemporary classical music scene. He was a chorister at Winchester Cathedral, where he studied organ with Sarah Baldock before earning a music scholarship to Eton. In recent years, he's been recognized as a Britten Pears Young Artist (2024-25) and received support from City Music Foundation.

Beyond performing and composing, Edward is also a published author. His compositions have been gaining recognition, including the premiere of his epic multi-movement work "Out of Eden" at Sinfonia Smith Square, which explores themes of environmental impact and hope for renewal. He released his first recording with the Delphian label in 2025, marking an exciting milestone in his recording career.
