Ragini Shankar

Ragini Shankar is a talented Indian violinist known for her mastery of the Hindustani classical tradition as well as her innovative collaborations across genres. Coming from a rich musical lineage, she is the granddaughter of the legendary violinist Padma Bhushan Dr. N. Rajam and the daughter of renowned violinist Dr. Sangeeta Shankar. Trained from an early age, Ragini has carved out her own niche by blending classical rigor with contemporary expression. She’s performed at prestigious festivals around the world and has also ventured into fusion and world music projects, making her music both deeply rooted and refreshingly modern.

Beyond her solo performances, Ragini is also part of the ensemble InStrings, bringing a fresh, vibrant sound to Indian music.
