Invocation of Nehek

Invocation of Nehek is a metalcore band from Hartford, Connecticut, formed in 2001 by guitarists Robb Cyr and Steve Pianka. The band's style is often compared to groups like Unearth and God Forbid, but they also have strong hardcore roots. One of their notable collaborations was with Ken Susi of Unearth, who produced and recorded their 2004 album and their 2003 demo. The band has released several albums, including a self-titled album in 2004, a 2003 EP, and a 2006 EP. However, they eventually disbanded in 2006.

Invocation of Nehek's music aligns with the deathcore genre, and they gained recognition for their intense sound, which is unique while still fitting within the metalcore scene. Despite their short tenure, they left a mark on the metal scene with their distinctive blend of hardcore and metalcore elements.
