Red Bull Batalla is not a musician or band in the traditional sense, but rather an international freestyle rap competition that is sponsored by Red Bull. It is one of the largest and most prestigious Spanish-language freestyle battles in the world, annually attracting some of the best improvisational rappers from across the Spanish-speaking countries. The competition showcases the rap skills, lyrical ability, and improvisational prowess of the contestants, challenging them to demonstrate their best rhymes and beats in a head-to-head format.

Started in 2005, Red Bull Batalla (formerly known as "Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos" – "Battle of the Roosters") has grown to have national finals in numerous countries, including Colombia, the United States, Central America, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Mexico, and Spain, as noted in the titles of its most recent releases. The winners of these national competitions go on to compete in the international final, which crowns the global champion for the year.
