Karg is an atmospheric black metal project hailing from Austria, deeply entwined with themes of melancholia, nature, and existential contemplation. The brainchild of multi-talented musician V. Wahntraum, who is also known as J.J. from the band Harakiri for the Sky, Karg was formed in 2006 as a channel for its creator's more personal and emotional reflections on life, distinct from his work with other bands. V. Wahntraum, as the sole consistent member of Karg, has been responsible for its raw, textural soundscapes that blend piercing black metal elements with post-rock and ambient influences, creating an immersive auditory experience.
