Pepe, whose real name is Ionuț Nicolae Pascu, is a well-known Romanian musician, composer, and performer born on July 20, 1979, in Bucharest. He initially gained recognition in 1996 at a music festival in Ploiești and then became the lead singer of the band Latin Express in 1999, which introduced flamenco into Romanian music. Since 2000, Pepe has pursued a solo career and established himself as one of Romania’s most appreciated Latin pop artists. Over the years, he has released several albums, including *Pepe* (2001), *Îmi place* (2002), *Cine te iubește?* (2002), *Inimă nebună* (2004), *Fericire și tristețe* (2007), and *Aruncă-mi o privire* (2011). Pepe is also known for composing the song "Numai iubirea," part of the soundtrack for Romania's successful telenovela of the same name. Apart from music, he has worked as a TV presenter and judge on various Romanian television shows. Throughout his career, Pepe has performed at major Romanian venues and festivals, including Arenele Romane, the National Arena in Bucharest, the Romanian Music Awards, and Neversea Festival, earning a strong fan base with his energetic performances and Latin pop style.
