Madtown was a South Korean boy band formed in 2014 by J. Tune Camp, known for their energetic hip-hop and pop sound. The group consisted of seven members: Moos, Daewon, Lee Geon, Jota, Heo Jun, Buffy, and H.O. Two of the members, Moos and Buffy, originally debuted as the hip hop duo Pro C in 2013 before becoming part of Madtown. They made their official debut with the album *Mad Town* on October 6, 2014, and quickly gained a fanbase known as "Mad-people." Madtown was active until 2017, with their contract moving to GNI Entertainment after J. Tune Camp closed. The group officially disbanded following some members' participation in the show *The Unit*.
Moos, the leader and rapper, was a notable figure who had trained for six years and had experience as a backup dancer for major K-pop artists. The group was recognized for their dynamic performances and had several music videos including "YOLO," "New World," and "Emptiness." Despite their relatively short career, Madtown made an impact on the K-pop scene before their disbandment was confirmed.
