Donovan's Brain

Donovan's Brain is a long-running psychedelic rock collective led by Ron Sanchez, who launched the project in the late 1980s in Bozeman, Montana. The band grew out of a vibrant indie scene and quickly developed a reputation for blending 1960s influences with more modern sounds, drawing inspiration from bands like The Nomads, Johnny Thunders, and The Soft Boys. Their first full album, *Shambaholic*, was released in 1994, marking the real beginning of Donovan's Brain as a serious musical venture. Over the years, Ron has collaborated with a core group of talented musicians, including Richard Treece and Deniz Tek, whose involvement in the band has been essential to its evolving sound.

Known for their eclectic and adventurous style, Donovan's Brain continues to explore fresh sonic territory while maintaining a strong connection to their roots.
