New Politics is an alt-rock trio that hails from Copenhagen, Denmark, and consists of David Boyd, Søren Hansen, and Louis Vecchio. The band formed in 2009 and quickly made a name for themselves with their dynamic blend of punk, pop, and electronically tinged tunes capped with energetic live performances. Having relocated to the United States, New Politics signed with DCD2 Records, owned by Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, where they further cultivated their distinctive sound and following.
Known for their kinetic energy and catchy hooks, New Politics broke into mainstream awareness with hits like "Yeah Yeah Yeah" and "Harlem."
