New Politics

New Politics is an alt-rock trio that hails from Copenhagen, Denmark, and consists of David Boyd, Søren Hansen, and Louis Vecchio. The band formed in 2009 and quickly made a name for themselves with their dynamic blend of punk, pop, and electronically tinged tunes capped with energetic live performances. Having relocated to the United States, New Politics signed with DCD2 Records, owned by Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, where they further cultivated their distinctive sound and following.

Known for their kinetic energy and catchy hooks, New Politics broke into mainstream awareness with hits like "Yeah Yeah Yeah" and "Harlem." Over time, the band has released a succession of albums and EPs, with the most recent offerings including the vibrant and eclectic "An Invitation to an Alternate Reality" and the anthemic single "Comeback Kid," both showcasing their maturity in songwriting and evolution in sound. Their ability to fuse upbeat dance rhythms with rock sensibilities has earned them spots on numerous tours and festivals, as well as the affection and loyalty of a diverse fan base eagerly awaiting their next creative endeavor.
