Joey McIntyre rose to fame as the youngest member of the iconic boy band New Kids on the Block, which dominated the pop music scene in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Born on December 31, 1972, in Needham, Massachusetts, McIntyre joined NKOTB at the age of 12, completing the lineup that would go on to sell over 80 million records worldwide.
After NKOTB disbanded in 1994, McIntyre pursued a solo music career and ventured into acting. He's released several solo albums and has appeared on Broadway, starring in shows like "Wicked" and "Waitress". McIntyre has also taken on various TV and film roles, including parts in "Boston Public" and "The Heat". In recent years, he's continued to perform with the reunited New Kids on the Block while also working on solo projects and acting gigs.
