Bi-2

Bi-2 is a renowned rock band hailing from Belarus, formed in the late 1980s by two school friends, Shura (Aleksandr Uman) and Leva (Yegor Bortnik). Their journey began in Bobruisk, but it was after the collapse of the Soviet Union that they relocated to Israel and later to Australia. Despite these relocations, Bi-2 remained connected to their roots and found widespread fame upon returning to the Eastern European music scene in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

The band's name, often stylized as "Bi-2," is pronounced "Bee-dva," and their music resonates with the Russian-speaking audience through a mix of rock, alternative, and sometimes orchestral sounds, with deeply poetic lyrics. Best known for hits like "Polkovnik" and "Moy Rock 'n' Roll," Bi-2 has maintained a significant impact on the Russian rock scene. Over the years, they've released various chart-topping albums and singles, colluding with prominent artists and sustaining their popularity across the CIS countries. Their unwavering creative output is evident through their recent works, including singles like "Я двигаюсь дальше" and "Нечётный воин 5," and live performances such as "Mashup (Live)" and "Ангелы (Live)," which exhibit their dynamic stage presence and connection with fans.
