Phrasenmäher was a German pop band formed in Hamburg in late 2003. Over the years, they gained recognition in the German music scene with their catchy, thoughtful songs and a style that blends mainstream pop with a touch of indie and alternative influences. They released several albums, including *Schon schön* (2006), *Ode an die Leude* (2008), and *Sehr Verstörte Damen Und Herren* (2011), winning several awards and gaining a loyal fan base through extensive touring, including support for the Fantastischen Vier in 2011. Notably, their song "Zwei Jahre in" held the Guinness World Record for the longest officially released song for a time, with a runtime of over 90 minutes. After a successful run with around 13 years of making music together, the band went on an indefinite hiatus following an acoustic tour around their album *Wir wären dann soweit*. Fans remain hopeful for a reunion, but nothing is confirmed yet.
