Icky Blossoms

Icky Blossoms are an Omaha-born indie electronic trio known for their danceable beats and moody, synth-driven sound. Formed in 2011, the band features Sarah Bohling, Nik Fackler, and Derek Pressnall (of Tilly and the Wall fame), blending post-punk energy with pulsing club rhythms. They burst onto the scene with their self-titled debut album in 2012, produced by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek, and became staples of Omaha’s thriving art-rock community. After a hiatus, they returned with 2017’s *Mask*, followed by experimental releases like *Living in Fiction* and *Cowboy Knights*, showcasing their love for dark pop hooks and atmospheric production. Whether performing in DIY spaces or festival stages, Icky Blossoms maintain a reputation for hypnotic live shows that feel equal parts warehouse rave and art installation.
