Rewşan

Rewşan is a Kurdish musician, songwriter, and violinist born in Tatvan, Bitlis, Turkey. She began her solo career in 2018 with the album "Ax Lê Wesê," which features Kurdish and Armenian songs. Since then, she has gained recognition for her compositions and compilations, including the acclaimed album "Tov (Seed)" in 2020, which blended her own works with those of past and present composers. Her music often explores the intersection of ancient Kurdish culture and contemporary sounds, creating a unique fusion that resonates with diverse audiences. Rewşan has performed with various orchestras and has been involved in projects like the documentary series "Dengên Bakur (Voices of the North)," which highlights Kurdish women's oral traditions.
