Despot Tomić

Despot Tomić is a musician from Mrkonjić Grad, Bosnia and Herzegovina, who has been living and creating music in Vienna for several years. He began his musical journey at a young age, primarily influenced by his father, a guitarist. Tomić's passion for music led him to start playing the guitar obsessively around the age of 17, quickly progressing to perform with his first band, Manje Posla. He later moved to Vienna, where he was part of various blues, jazz, and rock bands, with Psychedelic Love being one of the longest-lasting collaborations. His musical inspirations include blues and rock legends like Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, and Eric Clapton, while his songwriting is influenced by artists such as Kurt Cobain, Noel Gallagher, and Jeff Buckley.

Despot Tomić has released several albums, including "antiRomeo," "Dani jutra broje," and "Noći dane boje." His recent work includes the song "Nevena," a love ballad that reflects feelings of isolation and lost love, inspired by the style of Eric Clapton. Tomić is currently working on his first English-language LP. His music is available on all major digital streaming platforms and YouTube.
