Tamerlane SLC is a post-hardcore band from Salt Lake City, Utah. Formed in 2017, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Tyler Smith, bassist and vocalist Jake Rasmussen, and drummer and vocalist Matt Jones. Their music is characterized by its heavy, distorted guitars, driving rhythms, and introspective lyrics. Tamerlane SLC has released two EPs, "Absence" and "Clouds Unfold," and a full-length album, "March 12, 1977 to November 14, 1995." The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and has shared the stage with bands such as Touché Amoré, The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die, and Pianos Become the Teeth.
