Formed in 2012, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Jake Smith, bassist and vocalist Matt Johnson, drummer and vocalist Chris Johnson, and guitarist and vocalist Ryan Johnson. The band's sound is a mix of indie rock, folk, and country, with lyrics that often explore themes of love, loss, and the American West. The Casper Fight Scene has released three full-length albums, "Young Neil, He Lives Here" (2014), "Haymaker" (2016), and "Good Deal" (2019), as well as several EPs and singles. Their music has been praised for its catchy melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and energetic live performances.
