BoomBox

BoomBox is an American rock and electronic duo that melds blues, rock, and house into a rhythmic, soulful, and progressive sound. Originally formed in 2004, BoomBox established its foundation with two key members: singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer, Zion Rock Godchaux, and producer/DJ Russ Randolph, who handled the beats and samples. Together, they created a unique style that resonates with a wide range of music lovers, blending traditional instrumentation with electronic beats.

Their live shows are known for their transcendent live performances that are both energetic and hypnotic, often blurring the lines between electronic dance music and jam bands. Over the years, they have built a dedicated fanbase through relentless touring and a string of successful releases. Notable among their more recent offerings is the album "Western Voodoo," released in 2018, which was described as a culmination of their rich musical journey, showcasing their ability to evolve while staying true to their roots. Since the departure of Russ Randolph in 2017, Godchaux has continued to carry the BoomBox torch, steering the project into a new era with releases like "Dangerous Waters" and "Petaluma," showcasing a fresh direction while keeping the essence of BoomBox alive.
