Kombajn do Zbierania Kur po Wioskach is a Polish alternative rock band formed in 2001 in Nowy Dworek near Świebodzin. They quickly gained attention with their catchy melodies, poetic lyrics, and experimental guitar work, winning the 2003 Węgorzewo Rock Festival. Their debut album, *Ósme piętro* (The 8th Floor), came out in 2005 under the patronage of Polish Radio Trójka, followed by *Lewa strona literki M* (The Left Side of the Letter M) in 2006 and *Karmelki i gruz* in 2011. Known for their thoughtful, introspective songwriting and distinctive sound, the band built a loyal fan base in Poland’s indie scene. After a hiatus starting in 2014, they surprisingly reformed in 2024 with a new lineup, proving their lasting influence and continuing to energize audiences with fresh concerts and music.
Their lineup features charismatic vocalist Marcin Zagański and energetic guitarist Tomasz Brażewicz-Dosiółko among others, blending poetic storytelling with dynamic rock instrumentation. Their music remains a go-to for listeners who appreciate a blend of literary Polish lyrics and inventive guitar-driven alternative rock.
