Predrag Živković, better known as Tozovac, was a renowned Serbian folk singer, composer, and accordion player. Born on January 22, 1936, in Kraljevo, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Tozovac rose to fame in the 1960s, initially as an accompanist to prominent singers before becoming a star in his own right. He collaborated with notable composers like Duško Radetić and Dušan Karaklajić. Throughout his career, Tozovac recorded numerous albums and singles, including hits like "Mirjana," "Ide Mile Lajkovačkom prugom," and "Vodeničareva ćerka." He was also a television personality, hosting shows such as "Folk parada" and "Grand Show." Tozovac appeared in several films and was known for his outspoken views on musicians' rights and education. He passed away on April 6, 2021.
