Big Tril

Big Tril, born Rowland Raymond Kaiza, is a talented Ugandan rapper, producer, composer, and songwriter. He was born in 1990 and raised by his single mother, Esther Nankinga, in a family with three siblings. Big Tril's music career began with underground rap battles, which eventually led to him being signed by GNL Zamba's Baboon Forest Entertainment. He later moved to Striker Entertainment, a Nigerian label based in Uganda. Big Tril gained widespread recognition with his hit single "Parte After Parte," which became a viral sensation and an unofficial anthem at the Nyege Nyege festival. His music often blends English and Luganda, creating a unique style that has resonated widely across Africa.

Before diving into music full-time, Big Tril attended Turkish Light Academy for his O and A-levels and briefly studied Journalism and Mass Communication at Makerere University. Some of his notable songs include "Bad Gyal Ting," "GIDDEM," and "Parte After Parte." Big Tril's stage name is an acronym for "Born In Greatness To Rise Into a LEGEND," reflecting his ambition and passion for music.
