Rising to prominence in the 1990s, he became a cornerstone of conscious reggae, blending Rastafarian wisdom with themes of love and social justice. His early work with producer Philip "Fatis" Burrell (like *Where There Is Life*) and collaborations with acts like Sizzla and Anthony B solidified his status as a roots revivalist. Recent releases like *Mercy* (2022) and *Human Being* (2023) keep his message fresh, while projects like *Reggae Triplets* (2022) with Nesbeth and Perfect showcase his collaborative spirit.
