Alastor

Alastor is a Polish thrash metal band that formed back in 1986 in the town of Kutno. The original lineup featured Waldemar Osiecki and Mariusz Matuszewski on guitars, Grzegorz Frydrysiak on bass, Sławomir Bryłka on drums, and Robert Stankiewicz on vocals—a team that stuck together for years and became a staple at major metal and rock festivals throughout Poland. Their debut album, "Syndroms of the Cities," was released in 1989 by the Italian label Metalmaster across Europe, with a Polish cassette version following the next year. Despite ups and downs in their career, including shifts in label partnerships, Alastor has remained active, known for their gritty sound and persistent presence on the live scene.

Over the years, Alastor has performed alongside a variety of top-tier Polish and international metal acts and continued to release new music, keeping their loyal fanbase engaged. Their recent tracks, with Polish-language titles, reflect their ongoing creativity and commitment to the thrash metal genre.
