Mike Polizze

Mike Polizze is a Philadelphia-based musician best known as the frontman and guitarist of the garage-rock band Purling Hiss, a project that’s been churning out fuzzed-out, melodic noise since the late 2000s. With a DIY ethos rooted in Philly’s scrappy indie scene, Polizze blends raw, guitar-driven energy with hooks that stick like glue. Outside of Purling Hiss, he’s released solo material under his own name, including the laid-back, introspective *Long Lost Solace Find* (2021) and the twangy *Dizzy Demos: 2 Tickets to Cheeseburger in Paradise* (2023), showcasing his range from blown-out rock to stripped-back, folk-adjacent vibes. Tracks like "Wishing Well" and "Revelation" highlight his knack for wrapping existential musings in warm, lo-fi textures.
