Styl-Plus is a Nigerian R&B and pop musical group hailing from Abuja. The group originally started as a gospel quartet in 1997, but it became a trio in 2002, comprising members Shifi Emoefe, Tunde Akinsanmi, and Zeal Onyecheme. Styl-Plus quickly rose to prominence with their soulful harmonies, catchy hooks, and a blend of English and native Nigerian languages in their lyrics, which helped them carve out a unique niche in the Nigerian music scene. They are often referred to as Nigeria's 'Boyz II Men' due to their romantic ballads and captivating love songs.

Their breakout moment came with the release of "Olufunmi" in 2003, which became an instant hit and a classic in Nigerian pop music culture. The group followed up with singles like "Runaway" and "Imagine That," which solidified their position at the top of the Nigerian music industry. Over the years, their evocative storytelling and clean, crisp vocals attracted a loyal fan base. Albums such as "Expressions" and "Back N Better" further showcased their versatility and consistency. Despite the changes in the music industry and the eventual departure of Tunde Akinsanmi for a solo career, Styl-Plus has maintained their signature sound and continues to contribute to the fabric of contemporary African music with their recent releases like "Aso Ibora (Blanket)" and "Unbreakable."
